Ouch!

I did a really stupid thing last night - I got out of the car and slammed the door on my right thumb - ouch - it's now twice it's normal size and is battered, bruised and bleeding. I have no chance of holding a needle in the next few days and you wouldn't believe how long it took me to type this post! I won't post a picture though - far too gross!  I did exactly the same thing last year - will I never learn?

    I can sympathise, as I did exactly the same thing with my thumb once - I came over all faint. Hope you can get back to stitching soon.

    Ouch! I hope it heals quickly. My youngest DD did that a few years ago and lost her thumbnail.
