A fast stitch?

I really enjoyed stitching on Valerie's Quaker Friendship RR yesterday and I cannot believe how quickly this is stitching up. I only have one more motif to go before my section is finished and although I could finish it today, I have instead decided to 'finish' my ornament for the HOE Christmas exchange as the deadline is fast approaching. I may even finish the two reindeer ones I stitched earlier so, hopefully, I will have some 'finish' pictures to show you shortly.

While I was in Canterbury last week one of the large stores had a display of the new Chanel perfume 'Eau Premiere' which of course I had to try out. It has beautiful scent and I am definitely thinking of adding this to my Christmas list. To my delight I received a free sample in the mail today - ok it's not the largest of samples but it's better than nothing and I do smell so nice today!

Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend
Take care

  1. Carol,
Your contribution to Valerie's Quaker RR is absolutely gorgeous. The colour is so subtle and soft. It will look stunning when it's completed.

I wondered what that delicious smell was when I logged onto your blog....haha! That Chanel perfume is fab :>)
Have a great weekend. It's dull and very wet here but we are off to Cambridge for the day.

Because you're a scissor addict like me, have you seen the new scissors that Anita (Anita's Little Stitches) just posted on her site? I ordered the Victorian embroidery and Ice Cream Swirls ;)

I am so happy you got the little Chanel sample, isn't it fun to pick up your day with something free like that? Put it on your wishlist, I will let Santa know!

    Hope you are doing well.
