Beautiful bright blue sky.
Ours is a washy greyish blue, and temperatures went below 0°C last night.

Speaking of snags, Carol, have you abandoned the hemstich tutorial? I have't seen any new mention of it since April, and have been waiting (somewhat im)patiently for it since you first brought it up in January. I love the look of a hemstitched edge, and have done it once with so-so results. All the tutorials I've found leave much to be desired, especially in the area of how to make a nice corner. I've been so looking forward to yours, as your pieces all look so perfect. Would it help if I begged? Please? Or whined? Pleeeeease? :)
