Firstly are some photos of my Quaker Faith Hope Love SAL that I did with Yuko. I'm sorry about the poor quality of the photos but I seem unable to get really good pictures today. Once it's been framed, I will take another picture.

Not too much stitching on my Quaker SAL with Yuko but Love is coming along nicely and it will probably be finished later today. 

Julie - the fabric - it's 36ct Edinburgh and the colour is flax.

Last night was Stitch-n-Bitch and I took along Little by Little's Quaker Blackbird. I didn't get too much done but I enjoyed what I did. 

I managed to fix Kirby's printer yesterday. It just need alignment after putting in new ink cartridges but ...

I am sad to announce the demise of Mr A M Mouse. Mr Mouse was born in 2006 and lived with his owner for over two years. He took sick last weekend when he became very erratic and refused to scroll downwards. Despite cleaning and being fed new batteries, last night he took a turn for the worse and finally ejected his batteries just after 11pm. There will be a short service at St Apples, Jobs Road, Mackintosh. No flowers by request but donations to the 'Ineeda Numouse Foundation' will be much appreciated.

An update on Faith Hope Love. As you can see I finished on Hope and have put a few stitches into Love too although they are not in the photo. I am really enjoying this SAL with Yuko although I am wondering if we should have chosen a larger project as this is stitching up really quickly and the SAL will soon be over. 

I had a call from Kirby last night - she is having problems with her printer so I am going to her house this morning to see if I can fix it. She put new ink cartridges in so I expect it's something really simple - at least I hope so. She thinks that I can fix anything - Supernan to the rescue - I really must stop wearing my panties on the outside of my trousers! I wish I could fix my Apple Mighty Mouse though as the scroll ball is refusing to scroll downwards. I've tried all the recommendations both on Apple Support and on the forums without any luck so it looks like a new mouse is the way to go.

This is my start on the Faith Hope Love SAL with Yuko. I have actually done a little to HOPE since this picture was taken and will take a further photo later today. Last night while I was putting in some stitches I thought of Yuko, thousands of miles away, stitching on the same piece - she tells me she has stitched LOVE so we were both working on HOPE. I had to change the colour of the thread for this as the Creme I had originally chosen did not show up very well so I am now using AVAS Blanc Optique, which of course is white. I think this will be a very quick SAL as it is very difficult to put down.

Kirby called round after uni yesterday to download her photos from Amsterdam onto my computer as she was having problems downloading on to hers. She then burned them onto a cd so she could take them home to print out the best of them. As there were some 200 photos I don't think the ink in my printer would have held out! She told me she wasn't too keen on the hostel they stayed in and from the photos I can see why but then I suppose that's what being a student is all about. I'll stick to a nice hotel thank you!

Yuko and I decided to do a private SAL with Midnight Stitching's Quaker Faith Hope Love and the above photo shows the fabric and threads I decided to use for mine. The fabric is 36ct Edinburgh linen in flax and the silks are Au Ver a Soie in Creme, 1424 (blue) and 4624 (red). I made a small start on this over the weekend and will post a WIP photo shortly.
