Jane Rees update

The above picture shows my progress on Jane Rees as at 31.12.11. Not a great picture as it's rather dark here today but you can see the progress. The fabric is 55ct antique white Gander linen and the thread is AVAS Soie Surfine 109.

As you can see from this picture I have a long way to go. I am aiming to finish the alphabet section as soon as I can and once that's done I will make a start on the pre-stitching of the Sherri Jones' Blue Ribbon Box for the class I have booked in London on April 21 *here* (scroll down).

Last night, as we were dog sitting, I spend a few hours surfing blogs and checking out Wish Lists so I could gift a chart or two. Unfortunately not one blog/wish list I visited had a iStitch Design! I wonder what that's telling me?

Have a wonderful New Year and a big thank you to those that follow my blog and leave encouraging comments.

Thanks for visiting
Take care

That is certainly a big project.
I don't have you on my wish list as I haven't updated it in a year Oops , but your charts are so reasonbly priced I can afford to get them myself (maybe I should watch what I say you may put the prices up lol )I would still get them if you did ;0)

This is a lovely design and oh so big!!

Always, love what you design, wish I had the time to have stitched along with everyone on your last SAL. Everyone had great colors and finishes - thank you for sharing your time and talent. Maybe this year I will be able to actually get some good stitching in.

That is telling you a couple of things. From my own perspective, I don't publish a wish list, and that is probably true of others. Or it could also tell you that we don't want to wait to be 'gifted' with your sweet charts--we get them ourselves! Or it could be telling you that you read the wrong blogs, and that you have a LOT more to read!! Ha! Jane Rees is quite an undertaking. I had not realized the chart was so hugs! I like the bands of patterns... Happy New Year!

Wow Carol, that design is much bigger than I realised, it is looking fabulous though....

I love your charts but I don't have a wishlist. Besides any emailed charts don't need 'permission' to buy as hubby doesn't see them. There are plenty of designs of yours that I will get eventually!

    Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! You've got alot of progress on Jane Rees. I do agree with Maggee's comments about wish lists. I will look forward to your designs in 2012!

    Happy New Year!

I see you're working on something "small" :)! I cannot believe you are doing this on 55 count. Wow, you must have great eyes! Can't wait to see it completed. And by the way, I finally finished your sweet sal that you had offered. It's beautiful and I can't wait to put in on a box top. Thank you very much for sharing your talents with us!
    Carol :)

Jane is looking gorgeous, Carol! I do love redwork.

I'm hopeless at updating my wishlist - I would be the same as Rachael above, pretty sure it hasn't been updated in a few years!

Wow, I was about to say you're almost finished and then I scrolled down, LOL.

    Nonetheless, it's turning out beautifully.
