To 'crossxcrochet'

I now know who you are. It didn't take long for me to work it out and I am very disappointed to learn that it was you - someone who has been a long-time customer of iStitch Designs. I keep excellent records of who has brought what and when and all the designs you have uploaded to the sharing forum have been purchased by you. You also joined the Mystery SAL, which I did for free and this chart plus pictures that you have 'lifted' from my blog (again without permission) have also been 'shared'. Thanks to you there will now NOT be a SAL for this year.

Now ... shall I 'name and shame' you by posting your name, your blog and your email address on my blog? And let's not forget I also have your snail mail address. I will be taking legal advice - my years of working in the law has some perks. Those designs you posted are still available to download - it's easy enough to delete them - just call up those posts - hit the 'edit' button at the bottom of each post and then delete/clear the post. I will be checking back to see if this has been done. I strongly advise you to delete yourself from this forum. They gave you false hope that I could not find you - they were wrong and, judging from the comments you received from these people, they all know that what you have done is illegal.

You may feel that I am singling you out - this is not the case. It was easy enough to find you but, as yet, I have not found 'Einaar' the other culprit but I'm working on it. She is no longer a member of this sharing website - she got out while the going was good!

An apology would not have gone amiss - I am a reasonable person. Please remove my designs as I requested before this goes any further.

*****************************

A big thank you to all of you who have commented and sent me emails of support. It is much appreciated.

As you may have noticed I have turned off the iStitch Designs blog at present. Some of you have enquired how you can complete your collection of my designs, please email me - my address is on my profile.

Thank you for visiting
Take care

I'm "glad" that you found out who this person is. I would certainly send their details to any other designers you know and also the moderators of any forums esp the Exchange and RR ones.

If this person will steal your designs she may well steal other things too.

Good Luck with the legal action investigation too.

Glad you found her too. Definitely get some legal advice; these people need to pay for what they have stolen. xx

    You go girl!

If it was me, I'd prosecute.

Fair warning to pattern pirates...you will be found out!

Kudos to you Carol for sticking up for yourself!!! I know it takes a lot of effort and can be completely exhausting just to protect what you've worked so hard for.

Yes, yes, why not 'name and shame' her? How sad, sad, sad. I am not a mean person. I just don't think she deserves to get away with this. Why cover for someone like this?

YEAH FOR YOU CAROL!!! I'm so glad all your detective work has paid off in finding the culprit of exploiting your designs for free.

Many hugs to you and I look forward to your designs when I can buy them in the future!!!

I say off with her head!!! Sorry, it's all the Olympic coverage from your lovely country. On a serious note, it must be very disheartening to be so betrayed.

Carol, your professionalism is so exhibited in your post. I applaud you. I support you. I have to say, though I'm not a vindictive person, if I got no results in due time, I would NOT hesitate to name & shame this person. But whatever you decide, again, it's obvious the support you have from your friends here.

I'm glad you found out who this person is Carol. This is so unfair on you and other designers too.

Carol. I have been so busy that didn't time to read my blogs update. I'm so sorry to hear this happen to you too!! I'm so glad you found the "THIEF" and with all the damage that this person have made to you and the industry, I think, you should made her name and blog public, that way, all of us who respect the designers hard work, will know who she is and stay away from her!!

So sorry, this is happening to you! Good you hunted this person. I think you should name and shame her, if she'snot deleting your designs of her site....

Glad your detective work paid off. I do hope that you get the results you deserve. Please keep us informed.

Oh Carol I am so sorry this has happened, your point is so excellently put and so professional as always. I agree with naming and shaming. I would hate this person to be someone I visit unknowingly. I wish you every success in finding the other culprit and I hope there is prosecution of some sort. You are so generous and kind and this behaviour is shameful. Take care and good luck.

I'm so sorry to read that you have been the victim of chart theft! I love your charts, they are reasonably priced and allow me to stitch something beautiful in a relatively short period of time.

I'm glad I have your email so that as $$$ permit I can finish out my collection of your charts.
