Although I have been stitching some, I cannot post photos as they are either for gifts or exchanging. I have also had a cold which is making me feel a bit miserable with all the sneezing and snuffling. I really would like to be tucked up in bed with someone bringing me chicken broth but as Ken works long hours away from home, the only one to spoil me is me, so I have just made myself a very large mug of hot chocolate and thought I would at least let you all know what I am up to.
As I do not like to post without photos, I thought you would like to see my stitching cabinets. The first one, which holds all my DMC flosses and perle cottons, was an 'un-birthday' present - I saw it - wanted it and Ken said I could have it for my birthday. This was in June one year and, being a Christmas Carol, my birthday isn't until December! Anyway he finally agreed I could have it so I call it my 'un-birthday' present. Isn't it just neat with all those tiny divided drawers just right for putting wound bobbins in numerical order? The larger drawers at the bottom are handy for beads and WIPs and the really tiny drawer at the top holds charts.
The second cabinet was a birthday and Christmas present combined as it was rather expensive. I saw it in an antique shop and fell in love with it. It's an antique miniature 'chest on a chest' and I store a large stash of silk threads in here along with other goodies and supplies of extra DMC threads.
Thank you for visiting
Take care
Carol

Feel better soon, wish I lived closer and I'd bring you chicken soup :)
Love your stitching chests, they're gorgeous!
