Alphabets Blue finish!

Valie and I enjoyed our recent SWiM (Stitch With Me). This design is Alphabets Blue by The Work Basket and was Valie's choice - our next SWiM will be our own design! As you already know mine is stitched on 55ct linen with HDF Colbart Blue silk thread whereas Valie chose to stitch on 36ct flax linen using HDF Zebra Dove silk thread. Isn't it amazing how individual the same design is when stitched on different fabrics and in different shade of thread?

I just realised that the pictures don't do your work on extremely high-count linen any justice. Congratulations on stitching so small ! And I am looking forward to our creation !

Beautiful finishes for both of you and for someone like me who finds it hard going to stitch on anything over 32 count I think stitching on 55 count is amazing!

Carol this is just amazing. You should have put a coin next to it so that everyone could see how small it actually is. Unless I get much better magnification or something I wouldn't even try on that count of linen. Congratulations on a gorgeous finish. Lots of Love Patti xxx
