Quaker Friendship round robin

I received Mindi's Quaker Friendship RR from Wendy and I could not wait to start my section! I don't know what fabric Mindi chose but it's beautiful as it has a real vintage look to it. She has chosen Vicki Clayton silk floss in Raisin Wine with the accents in a variagated brown. Isn't it just gorgeous? I have one more motif to do - the one with the devil's horns!

Back to work tomorrow :o( I really do prefer my time at home as I missed my stitching last week and I have a few pieces I need to finish. I didn't work last Friday and, as Ken was off too, we went to Ikea and Lakeside (shopping mall). We stopped at TGI Fridays for lunch where I was really good and ordered a chicken salad and no dessert! I got some lovely storage boxes at Ikea and although I checked out the new 3G iPhone at the Apple store, I did not buy one.

Not much else to report.

The Raisin Wine is a beautiful colour. I'm planning to do my BP Quaker in it and I'm really looking forward to stitching it. Mindi's Quaker looks great!

You are right, the vintage look of it is just so nice. Perhaps even more lovelier in person. I love it! I like the thread colors too.

Wow, this Quaker project is looking stunning. I just love that Raisin Wine colour, it's so old fashioned. Mindi must be thrilled with it.
