HOE biscornu exchange

Yesterday we took a shopping trip to Bluewater. I had heard that John Lewis had a great selection of Dupion silk and I am looking for a specific colour for a project. Although they did not have what I was looking for, it was a good day out and Ken took me to lunch at Nando's. Unfortunately their spits were not working so we ended up with a ceasar salad with chicken strips but it was nice. I also got a couple of tops and a new landline phone.

While we were out I received a package from Joanne with a pretty biscornu for the HOE exchange, together with two lovely cuts of fabric and a Linen Tester. There are better pictures on Joanne's blog - the light is so bad here today. Thank you Joanne.

UPS also tried to deliver another package yesterday - twice! Yesterday was the first day we had been out for the day for ages and, typically, UPS decide to deliver on that day. I hope they call back today. Deb has very kindly been 'shopping' for me so I know there are some great goodies inside this package. Thank you Deb :-)

I am definitely going to work on Ms Beeby today.

Thank you for visiting
Take care
