I was going to wait until tomorrow to post as the gloomy weather has prevented me from taking a better picture but poor Angela (no blog) tells me she has been 'hanging around my blog just to see if I'd put up my new pattern'. So, without further ado, here it is! I actually finished stitching it on Friday but decided at the last minute to hem-stitch it. It is stitched 1*2 on 40ct Edinburgh flax linen with HDF Magpie Tears 2349 and the hemstitching with DMC 3033.
Valie has been checking the chart for errors, and yes we did find some minor ones which have now been corrected. She has used a white cotton thread from Cartier-Bresson (which unfortunately is no longer available) on 36ct steel blue Gander linen. She finished as a beautiful pinkeep backed with Yuwa fabric from Alsace and a sumptuous dark brown velvet ribbon.
This pattern is available as a freebie and all you need to do is leave a comment (on this post only) saying you would like a copy and leaving an email address. I am getting requests without an address so I am unable to send out.
Sew Red is still available and thank you again for your interest and kind comments on this chart.
There will be more charts in the future but for now I need to stitch some Christmas ornaments, put a few stitches into Beatrix Potter and start BAM VII with Valie. I have the chart, the fabric and thread but even before this I have an overdue birthday gift to finish. I wonder however I found the time to work?
Thanks for visiting
Take care
EDITED: I am still getting requests with no email addresses and private profiles. Can Marie from France and Gail get in touch please.
