Nicola

Here is an update on Nicola's Sew Noel. I love the thread she is using - Caron Waterlilies 'Holiday'. Not too much left until the finish - H to K of the alphabet and the outside border. Well done Nicola, it looks great.

This chart is still available *here* or if you can't get this link to work try the CHARTS logo on the sidebar. I am looking forward to seeing other versions of Sew Noel.

Here's Hector - he looks so sad. He was not allowed out last night because of the fireworks!

And introducing Chelsea the parrot! He's an African Grey and has a beautiful red tail which doesn't show in the picture. He is very funny and imitates everything from the telephone to voices and the sounds of the other animals. I'm not sure I would want him to live with me - he's far too noisy!

Sue of Berkshire Cottage blog - Brown Bunny is by Ewe Eye & Friends.

Thanks for visiting - have a good weekend
Take care

Nicola is doing a beautiful job! Love the floss she chose. I am hoping to finish sew autumn today. I have had a super busy week & haven't had much stitching time. But...today!!!!
    Hector is so pretty!!!

Nicole's stitching is looking lovely. It's good to see different versions. It's a really festive colour.
Poor Shadow was none too pleased with the snap crackle and pop of the fireworks last night either!!
    Hugs Angela

I wasn't sure about that Holiday thread at first--but now that I see it with the alphabet I'm sold!

As for Hector, I LoL'ed at his pic. I don't think I'm *supposed* to find sad dogs funny. Maybe it's the remembrance of our dog who we practically trained (though the positive reinforcement of treat-giving) to carry on like all she loved in the world had died whenever we ate. Anything. Well, her King Lear act worked, and she got whatever it was she was begging for.

Hector does look sad. Our dogs don't like the fireworks either!
