HOE Halloween exhange

I heard from Marjean that she received the HOE Halloween exchange that I did for her. I stitched a pinkeep called "Witches Welcome" by Helga Mandl Designs on 36ct lambswool linen using DMC threads. I do not normally stitch Halloween patterns but I did enjoy this one - I just love the boots with their curled-up toes! Marjean has a photo on her blog of the extras that I sent her.

I have been playing around with my new Photoshop Elements program as you can see from the above picture! Today I received a book that I ordered through Amazon called "Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac: The Missing Manual" so hopefully I will now be able to do more with it in the future!

It's extremely dull and dismal here today - I think that Summer has past and there's only the long Winter ahead. Will the sun ever shine again? Will I ever be able to sit in the garden again? I'm SAD.

Thanks for visiting
Take care

Come up here, the sun is shining today (unlike the weekend, which was mainly wet, grey and cold!)

Love your exchange, hope you get some sunshine this week!

Sorry to hear you're sad. I know a few people who dread the coming of winter. It must be rough for you, esp. when the sun goes in hiding. But remember, it will come out again!
Love the Halloween pinkeep. Those shoes are a hoot!

Wonderful picture and great little piece for an exchange! I know what you mean about the sadness of winter coming, Carol. That's why I moved to FL, I couldn't take the NEngland colo anymore. It really did get to me. Only thing you can do is keep things around you cheeful and warm, and take a few weekends away. It doesn't have to be far away...just some change of scenery will help. I'm sorry you feel that way...
    Love and hugs,
    Deb

Oh, love the halloween pinkeep! How fun! I like how the toes of the boots curl too! :)

It's still sunny here...come visit! We'd have fun! It did rain on Friday though...first rain of the season. It was kind of nice after so many months of sunny and warm.
